Plate feeder is generally divided into heavy, medium and light
three kinds, is commonly used in concentrator feeding equipment.
Working Principle
The high-strength bulldozer die-forged chain with a pitch of
228.6mm (9 inches) is used as the traction part. The two chains are
connected to form a closed loop by passing through a pair of
driving sprockets installed at the head of the machine body and a
pair of tensioning wheels at the tail of the machine body. Each
link of the two rows of chains is equipped with overlapping,
heavy-duty conveying troughs to form a continuous conveying line
capable of carrying materials. Its dead weight and the weight of
the materials are supported by multiple rows of supporting rollers,
chain support wheels and slideway beams installed on the machine
body. The transmission system is connected to the reducer through
an AC variable frequency speed regulating motor, and then the
expansion sleeve is directly connected to the drive device to drive
the carrying mechanism to run at a low speed. The materials
unloaded from the tail silo are transported to the front of the
machine body along the conveying line for discharge, so as to
achieve the purpose of continuous and uniform feeding to the
working machinery below.
Working Purpose
It is a continuous transport machine widely used in mining,
metallurgy, building materials, ports, coal and chemical mining
enterprises. It is mainly used to continuously and evenly supply
and transfer various large heavy objects and abrasive bulk
materials from storage bins or transfer hoppers to crushers,
batching devices or transportation equipment. It is one of the
important and indispensable equipment in the process of ore and raw
material processing and continuous production.
Working characteristics
1. Most of the time, the machine starts without load, and there is
basically no overload phenomenon. It starts with rated load
occasionally, and the receiving hopper can hold up to 70t of coal;
2. It requires zero-speed start, and the speed range is 0~0.6
m/min. It can be manually controlled to slowly accelerate or
decelerate. The speed is 0.3~ 0.5m/min, which is used more
frequently and runs stably;
3. The external load is basically stable during stable operation,
and the impact is small;
4. The ambient temperature is low and the dust is large
