According to the number and structure of drums, there are three types of single drum, double drum and separable drum. It is reliable, simple in structure, only suitable for shallow Wells and medium-depth mines, and the terminal load can not be too large. In deep Wells and when the terminal load is large, the diameter of the lifting wire rope and the hoisting drum is large, resulting in a large volume and a surge in gravity, which makes the lifting wire rope and the hoisting machine in the manufacturing, transportation and use of a lot of inconvenience. Therefore, to a certain extent, the use of single-rope winding elevator in deep well conditions is limited.

Mine hoist is mainly composed of working mechanism, braking system, mechanical transmission system, lubrication system, observation and operation system and dragging, control and safety protection system.
