3. Case of lime rotary kiln K-K Type Lime Rotary Kiln Metallurgy Machine

Our country is a big iron and steel country but not a strong iron and steel country, an important reason is the poor purity of steel making, one of the key factors is the technical barrier of the active lime. Through continuous innovation, Luomine has developed large-scale activated lime production technology, process and equipment with a daily production capacity of 750 tons to 1200 tons. The overall technical level has reached the world advanced level, and the main performance indicators are in the international leading level.

The application of this technology not only improves the smelting quality, reduces the production cost, but also produces obvious benefits in the aspect of energy saving and emission reduction. According to the introduction, taking a 750T/D production line as an example, can save standard coal 5,198 tons/year, electricity 1.24 million KWH/year, waste 150,000 tons/year. At the same time, activated lime used in steelmaking can reduce a variety of consumption, shorten smelting time and so on. It is used in steelmaking to save 41 million kilowatt-hours of electricity every year and in alumina and other industries to save 25 million kilowatt-hours of electricity every year.

Luo Mine has undertaken the project of "Complete sets of technology and equipment for large-scale highly efficient active lime" under the National Science and Technology support program. The complete sets of technology and key equipment for highly efficient and energy-saving active lime researched and developed have been in a leading and dominant position in China. A single production line with a daily output of 750 tons can save 5,198 tons of standard coal and 1.24 million KWH of electric energy every year. The activated lime technology of 1,000 tons per day has reached the current international advanced level, and the energy consumption of the system has been reduced by 12-15%. The equipment is widely used in steel, magnesium, calcium carbide, alumina, paper and other industries, which has strongly promoted the sustainable development of related industries. The project won the first prize of Science and Technology of China Machinery Industry. The domestic market share of activated lime above 750t/d is more than 80%.
